Technologies
Bike Stetch ECO
A highly functional and sustainable stretch fabric made from ECONYL® and LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™. Through a unique process Nylon content in clothing, fishing nets and industrial waste are transformed into new raw material and upcycled into Lycra® 190. The combination of both fibres offers high elasticity, holds its shape, and offers elevated freedom of movement.
4-Way Stretch
This fabric offers cross and lengthwise stretchability and thus provides perfect freedom of movement.
ICON Pad
The chamois « ICON » has been designed for demanding riders and offers maximum comfort on long rides. High density and 3-layer foam guarantee maximum protection against impacts and a perfect padding at the stressed points. The perforation of the foam had been bought to a new level by the TRS2 technology: the holes are smaller, but in the number more. The surface becomes smoother, with uniformly distributed respiratory activity. With the soft-tech material on the surface, Maloja uses an innovative Polyester-Microfibre fabric, which achieves unprecedented comfort. The combination of a new surface and breathable backing material results in extremely high stretch properties. Due to the technological improvements the chamois is lighter, softer, more comfortable as its predecessor and hardly noticeable.
Bi-Stretch Pad
All of Malojas chamois have bi-stretch properties which means that they stretch in several directions and thus ensure an optimal wearing comfort.
Seamless Pad
For Our Chamois we use exclusively bonded seams. This reduces every kind of friction on the Skin which is often caused by stitched seams.
